bigdave_185
Starting with a parked banshee, hasn’t ran since 2013 per the registration sticker Looking to clean up and repair what needs to be repaired. Replace what can’t be fixed and make it a runner again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Any one else have an opinion? More progress pictures with some small screws ordered from cascade racing today for the stator cover Much better to work on sand free Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
SandSlingerOR
All the chrome gets me excited. I'm old school and I still fancy chrome on quads.

bigdave_185
Looks like it’s cleaning up real nice! Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkI have one major blemish in the frame from rust, not sure how I will go about fixing it and making it look good being chrome, welding a plate over it would be easy enough but getting the frame redone wouldn’t be so easy or cheap Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
kawa110
Is that a hole? or the chrome peeling? If it’s just peeling you can clean it up, paint it so it doesn’t promote rust and find some frame guards. bigdave_185
Oh no it’s put a screwdriver inside “hole” Do you guys use this forum with an app? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
gusto
Just this weekend I had my chrome exhaust welded and the guy welding saved the chrome. You obviously won’t be able to save that area once it’s welded but it won’t be all that bad either
bigdave_185
Im thinking to fix it properly I need to cut out the rusted area and patch a piece in, my worry Is that I start with a grinder looking for the end of the rust and I’ll find it doesn’t stop anywhere and I need to find a new frame but.... I’ll cross that bridge when I need to Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

gusto
You’d see more rust through the frame if the frame was that bad. Personally I think you’ll be fine Edited October 14, 2020 by gusto
