Ecolandscaping17 Posted September 30, 2020 Report Share Posted September 30, 2020 No spark. Just bought bike Checked ohms on stator, pickup, coil primary and seconday, wires and caps. ALL.TEST GOOD. Continuity in on/off/light switch is good....(although it beeps continuity on OFF. Dont think this should effect spark as long as i have it on OFF, aka, the new ON.) Key switch has good continuity. Has a tors delete. Everything unplugged and/or cut. BRAND NEW. I replaced or replaced with: Flywheel, Stator, wire harness, key switch, cdi box stage 2 , voltage regulator, keyway, dynatek coil Only thing i didnt test was cdi box because i couldnt find anything on that. gusto Posted September 30, 2020 Report Share Posted September 30, 2020 I hope the replacement stator is OEM, if not that could be a problem. have you checked ground and cut back the wires on your coil? swap CDI with a working one, worth a try. As far as cutting back wires, I did not. I would say theyre about 8 inches long. And the cdi box, how do i know if it is working or not? How do you test a cdi box. bansheesandrider Posted September 30, 2020 Report Share Posted September 30, 2020 The fact that you said the CDI box is Stage 2 tells me it is not OEM. I tried an aftermarket box because it was all I could get in St. Anthony's- it lasted 1 ride. You can't test a CDI box, the test is to swap in a known good box. Get an OEM stator and CDI box, then you won't be chasing your tail. Did you check the pickup coil gap to the flywheel? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
