banshee907
When i start it up its super reved up and doesnt idke down. Went through the reeds and bought a pair of lectron carbs and all looks perfect but am still having this problem. Almost afraid to even start it i dont want to damage it by it reving to the moon right off the bat. Anyone know what can cause this? Im at my wits end with it Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
Tedder
It's usually caused by an air leak or the carbs are very lean.
bansheesandrider
Are the slides in the carbs correctly? Are the slides hanging up? Did you get the needles aligned with the jet when you installed the slides?
HomesteadBanshee
Mind did that one time but it was cause the carbs came out of sync.
SKEETER
Lean is mean, sounds very close to being dialed in !

hoppedupandcutdown
Has to be an air leak. Torn intake boot or such. (assuming you've checked and the slides are indeed down, and not a hung up cable housing)
grantevans713
Running to lean. Check the boots on your carbs, trace your throttle cable to make sure it isnt hung up. Pull air filters and make sure slides are down and synced. Thats basically the complete list of what you need to check. If its none of these things, its possessed and has ghosts in its blood, you should probably do cocaine about it.
