Deets
New SLP pipes, with new 28 pwk’s and K&N pods. filters rub on pipes, I’m sure it’s common but how much room is adequate? I did buy some pipe wrap, but it will be in direct contact.

Deets
Even if it didn’t burn the filter, I’d think it would compromise the oil?
Canadianshee
Are your filters straight or angled? Use high temp rad hose on pipes and turn your filter to so they are angled downwards Sent from my LG-H873 using Tapatalk
Deets
Filters are angled down in the pics, not even possible to fit em if they are angled up.
Canadianshee
Put some high temp tubing (rad hose) around you should be good. Sent from my LG-H873 using Tapatalk
Deets
Already had some fiberglass pipe wrap on order, but ordered some hose as well. I figure a skinny wrap and the hose over that should work great. As soon as I get my inserts for my pyrometers welded in the pipes I’ll be able to put it all back together. kawa110
Filters came today...Fmf pipes, pwk28’s I don’t care for how they sit on the frame, how loose they were on carb prior to tightening clamp, touching the pipes, the thin outerwears....
