alcoholbanshee Posted February 20, 2020 Report Posted February 20, 2020 Are these off the shelf oring? As in are you guying at Zatkoff are someplace similar? Is it possible you need an oring of a different durometer? That is going to be my best guess is you need a harder oring. Also it is important if this is not a mono block to torque the head before torqueing the base gasket. Quote
Guest Vince27 Posted March 7, 2020 Report Posted March 7, 2020 yes its a monoblock .. Cheetah 535 ...this Is the first Time i see a problem like this ... The oring We put on are viton one suppose to be the best one .... its like the head dont hold pressure when We put the brake on dyno or push hard on load ... the oring blow up close the center exhaust side ... There are many variations of viton. Yours is too soft I am guessing. Quote
