the boris Posted January 12, 2020 Report Posted January 12, 2020 Actually, the T.O.R.S. has been removed. So I need to pull the tank and unplug the switch?Did you remove just the carb switches or the parking brake switch and throttle switch too? Sent from my VOG-L29 using Tapatalk Quote
the boris Posted January 12, 2020 Report Posted January 12, 2020 If the box is still plugged it would be wise to remove it, all it does is makes your bike few ounces heavier. Sent from my VOG-L29 using Tapatalk Quote
03blkbanshee Posted January 12, 2020 Author Report Posted January 12, 2020 The TORS was already gone when I got the bike. I didnt see any wires coming out of the throttle, but can recheck that. I am assuming the parking brake switch is still there. 1 Quote

03blkbanshee Posted January 12, 2020 Author Report Posted January 12, 2020 Not sure now, I will check in the morning for that box. Quote
03blkbanshee Posted January 12, 2020 Author Report Posted January 12, 2020 Then maybe the parking brake thing was just coincidence. Maybe the reason its running so nice now is that I did have a bad leak at the reed valves, since that is the big thing that I worked on today. I also got the cabs synced finally as well. 1 Quote

hoppedupandcutdown Posted January 12, 2020 Report Posted January 12, 2020 Parking brake rev limiter and TORS are 2 separate systems, ALL Banshee came with TORS and only 97 up had the brake rev limiter. The TORS is a go/no go system. Anyway just a FYI. 1 Quote

03blkbanshee Posted January 12, 2020 Author Report Posted January 12, 2020 Well...I guess it isnt fixed after all. It sounds really good in the garage though. Sitting in the garage you can gun the throttle and she sounds awesome. The second you put it in gear and start letting the clutch out it just bogs out and sies. It will not pull its own weight (and mine). I thought that maybe the 25 pilot jets were a bit small so I put my 27.5's back in...but that made no difference. Tried different air screw adjustments as well. Quote
the boris Posted January 12, 2020 Report Posted January 12, 2020 So it's got no power at all. Sent from my VOG-L29 using Tapatalk Quote
the boris Posted January 12, 2020 Report Posted January 12, 2020 Someone with more experience should chip in because I really can't say what it might be from information you provided. My knowledge is limited when it comes to banshees. Sent from my VOG-L29 using Tapatalk Quote
03blkbanshee Posted January 12, 2020 Author Report Posted January 12, 2020 I wish I had the knowledge that a bunch of these members had. Trying to learn mainly because I dont like the idea of being way out in the sand dunes or way up on a mountain and not know anything about how my "ride ticks", if you know what I mean. And yes...it has NO power at all. Sounds awesome sitting still...but I guess that doesnt count for much. 1 Quote
