ClaudeMachining
I just putted out the clutch cover. The water impeller is very hard to turn by hand. Is it normal??? I know there is a mechanical seal and a spring but dam that thing is hard to turn by hand!!! gusto
It’s winter here and that’s when everyone rides, especially on the ice. Put down the purse, put on your toque and ride

sheerider11
I rode a 310 esr built bike. I was very unimpressed. Handles pretty good. But very lacking in the power delivery. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk

Ayesully810
im assuming its like a banshee with a gear on the other end which runs off a water pump gear on the crank, id imagine it would be hard to turn, it would be like trying to rotate the crank by using the impellar am i right? It's hard ro turn even when it's removed from the engineThey use a mechanical seal/spring assembly, so there is a lot of friction, especialy when it's new.But since im new to that kind of system, i dont know when hard become "too hard".Envoyé de mon SM-G965W en utilisant Tapatalk

ClaudeMachining
Here is the cover. The engine was running good so i guess it's normal to be as tight.Almost finished my porting on the engine. I did intake, transfer, boost port and exhaust.I didnt touch the ports timing.Envoyé de mon SM-G965W en utilisant Tapatalk
registered user
there will be some resistance turning the shaft because the seals and maybe a tight fit of the bearing. from old memory of different bikes i took apart it seems like they could still turn by hand. been a while since i taken that stuff apart though
