But I thought it was exceptable/spec was to lose no more than one psi a minute. Not one psi total. Some will say 1psi per min.. But NO good engine builder will allow that.

rkooienga
Just now, Pinkylee said: Some will say 1psi per min.. But NO good engine builder will allow that. Well I wouldnt allow that on my freshly rebuilt banshee but if the motor is a little old then I would have no problem letting that pass.

That’s a pretty big deal. Running it like that could melt a piston. And will definitely cause it to rev and lean hang. One more thing to check before firing it is all of the throttle cable ends. It’s easy to bump a cable during assembly and get the outer sheath hung up on one of the carb adjusters or the ends where the 2/1 or throttle housing is. hoppedupandcutdown
Knocking a orange or black coil wire off is common. Key switch jumper (if no switch) Accidentally plugging in the TORS box ( when the system is deleted) A broken wire at a pin (on a connection recently unplugged/plugged in)
hoppedupandcutdown
Oh, and some people will kick it for a day or two and forget to install the tether (if you have a safety kill switch)
