rkooienga
Alright I have two questions. The first is What is an exceptable compression psi. For a freshly rebuild banshee with 65mm bore. (not sure if bore matters.)/ what is the method to complete said comp test? Secondly What is the correct/most commonly used process of breaking in a banshee?
hoppedupandcutdown
Test...both plugs out, hold throttle wide open, kick until needle stops climbing on the gauge. Same for other side. Break-in...warm up good, checking for leaks. Shut off, cool down, re-torque head and cylinders. Warm up again then ride it for all it's worth. trickedcarbine
Acceptable PSI in a stock head rebuild with a couple bores like yours, 130ish. Do you have a stock head or cool head on it? Dennis is spot on with break in. Just be get it warm and check it all over a couple times. Take it for an easy cruise and listen to it. If it’s all good, beat the snot out of it.
the boris
I usually give it few heat cycles of mild ride before I step on it,with checks in between and,as someone already said, listen to it,if some new sound appears, shut it off and investigate.Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk
