Hi,

i bought a banshee (ported, full pro circuit exhaust, boysen reeds) and i was riding forum about the Toomey T5 and everyone was saying that its hit very hard and have a big kick. But my friend did gave me a set of T5 and it felt like its wasnt hitting at all. My plug were brown, the bike was running #1.. what could cause this? I know my t5 doesn’t have packing anymore can this cause a big loss of power?

thanks!

I can’t do the difference between the T5 who are supposed to be more a ‘’mid-top’’ pipe and the PCs ‘’low-mid’’, i really love the pull from the PCs. I can seems really stupid but sound for me it’s important, however i will not be proud of my shee.. Like i said, really love the sound of the T5, but hate the ‘’no pull’’. Now turn of the Pro Cicuit, really like the hard pull they give, but the sound is only sick when wide open. I want to get a set of pipe that can do both, a really strong pull and nice sound. What pipe can offer this?

when you talk hitting hard,  do you want a pipe that has no bottom and end then hits once it gets on the power band it pulls?   or did you want something that pulls hard the whole way?   a lot of what pipe you run has to do with your motor setup and what type of riding you do.  carbs/tuning has a lot to do with it too.
