jason.perez Posted October 11, 2019 Report Posted October 11, 2019 T5’s pods 300 ft 75 degree temps 27.5 pilot, 290 main, vitos needles middle clip my banshee feels week on the low end and hesitates before the power band Help I got all the jets Quote
ride.race.live Posted October 11, 2019 Report Posted October 11, 2019 (edited) raise your needle 1 clip see if it gets worse or better... if it gets worse well go down 1 from middle afterwards your pilot seems ok. main seems in the ball park... also what setting is your AF screw at as that does have an effect through out your range though minimal above 1/4 throttle. read through this post on this link.... it has helped me out a ton when i 1st started http://www.maultechatv.com/techguides/carbtuning.php Edited October 11, 2019 by ride.race.live Quote

I threw in the same Jets and richened the needle the hesitation got worse so I leaned it out. It’s better but it’s not as crisp as I want it for example if i just punch it of the get go there’s a pretty noticable hesitation before the power comes in is there anything I can do ? Maybe go down a main size ? Edited October 12, 2019 by jason.perez Quote

Try going to 1 and 3/4 turn on fuel screw or even turn it out to 2 turns from lightly seated and see how that does. and report back Quote

Killacaviar Posted October 19, 2019 Report Posted October 19, 2019 Runs pretty much the same maybe a tiny more crispI had the same issue on my bike. I had to drop my pilot and fatten the needle in order to have a smooth transition from 1/4-1/2throttle. If you do something and it gets better keep moving in that direction. Work on one thing at a time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote

I’m thinking of dropping my pilot down since low end power is not where it should be Quote
Killacaviar Posted October 19, 2019 Report Posted October 19, 2019 Sounds like your main might need attention. I would up one on the main and see if it gets better. If not go to other way. Try ray and get rid of that hesitation before messing with the pilot. I miss understood. I thought your lag was in the low end. Quote
jason.perez Posted October 19, 2019 Author Report Posted October 19, 2019 I started at 330 main and worked down I stopped at 290 I was scared to go lower then that seems that most people run 290 Maybe go down ? Quote

jason.perez Posted October 21, 2019 Author Report Posted October 21, 2019 I went 280 main on the 27.5 pilot and 4th clip from Blunt end and still feels like there’s no low end and If I’m in a higher gear and try to punch it, it still boys before the band Quote

gusto Posted October 21, 2019 Report Posted October 21, 2019 Put fresh plugs in and chop it. Let’s see how much fuel it’s getting Quote

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Maybe my throttle got a little bit crispier, but I did run out of time. I richened the needle down one clip since I added the 280 just to be safe. so now I’m going to lean it out little by little Edited October 21, 2019 by jason.perez Quote
