Rossp Posted September 26, 2019 Report Share Posted September 26, 2019 I just bought a new to me banshee and I’m looking for a little advice. All the info I have on the motor is that it’s a 421 cub. CPI in frames v force reeds keihin pj 34 carbs with k and n pods. The bike is very boggy off idle and all the way through the mid range. I’m wondering if you guys could help me with a starting point as far as jetting goes. This is my first banshee but not my first two stroke so I feel like I have an uphill battle of trying to tune this thing. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
the boris Posted September 26, 2019 Report Share Posted September 26, 2019 Pull the carburetors off, clean them, check what jets are already in there and go from that.Check and set the float level while you are at it, also would be good to check reeds and do the compression test as well as leak down test too.
