JSBanshee
I have a cheetah cub but it lags on the throttle when launching. A trx 450 beats it from launch, is that normal or is it the jets ? it’s a cheetah cub 4 mil Vito welded crank with 35mm carbs
pp13bnos
Tons of things factor into this question. What kinda surface are you riding on? What kinda tires, gearing, swing arm length, and jetting are you using? How far is he beating you by? How built is the TRX? In sand with my 7mill, I would launch fairly high in the rpm range in 2nd. Ideally it would carry the front tires about 6ish inches, through second, then lay down. More info is needed on what your quad is doing. JSBanshee
It has street tires at the moment, I think it has stock gearing, +4 swing arm, I’m not quiet sure of the jetting, it has shearer inframe small bore pipes, heavy duty clutch lock out clutch , trx is stock

Keno
Hit up ayesully on here, hes our site guru for drag racingLol. Poor Sully. I'm not an expert, but asphalt racing usually uses slip in the clutch to tune the launch. You could play with how you are letting the clutch out. Also what is your jetting? And are your carbs pwk's or pwk airstykers?

Keno
35mm keihin Regular pwks or pwk airstrykers? The pilot jet and needle are different between the two. Regular pwks are easier to tune on banshees.
