locogato11283
i run B8EV. never had any problems with them. ive always been told that with a more hopped up engine that a hotter plug will make it run better. just what ive heard, im not an expert or anything. xelerated
Now, how come noone is running B"R"8ES? I thought you HAVE to run Resistor plugs with Dig. ignition? Yamaha even calls for it? If you guys aren't running "R" plugs, why???
MULLET~BOY
thoes plugs are good plugs to run they are a finer point probably burn the fuel more efectivly
94BansheeRider
I believe they took the place of the EVX series, which were platinum tips. The Iridium is supposed to be better. But they cost $$$.
Justintoxicated
I haven't never noticed any difference between the BR8es and B8es plugs...
2001SSTBanshee
The difference is one has a resistor and one doesn't. "R"
fixitrod
Ngk plugs seem to not foul as easily. I don't know about different models. Here's my theory on ignition though. If there is a good spark, fuel will fire. All this better point, split fire....blah blah blah. If you have any quality plug and it fires there's going to be an explosion. If you don't believe me try this Stand in a room full of gas. Light a lighter and a torch. I bet both rooms blow up the same height considering they have the same amount of fuel and air. Just a theory though.
Justintoxicated
The difference is one has a resistor and one doesn't. "R" yea I know. I mean THey both perform the same, at one point I was running one of each in my cylinders and there was still no difference.. I would however like to find out what the difference is between the Brass threaded NGK's and the aluminum threaded NGK's I hear the brass colored ones don't fowl as easy, but again I have run one of each without noticing a difference?
