New problems, dieing on hills

Ok so got the electrical worked out, runs like a beast on flat, dont like 5 or 6th in the powerband much, but pulls hard.

I was tring it out on the coal hills today, pulled hard, then all of a sudden died out 2 times on me like it's running out of fuel, it's only on the hills while in the powerband.

The carbs are Mikuni 34mm flat slides, I know the mains are 290.

Should I be running bigger mains ? 465 serval wampus 10mil, 1500 ft above sea level.

Didn't check the plug yet, got home and put it away.
