96banshee_15 Posted March 18, 2019 Report Share Posted March 18, 2019 Hey guys I’m sure this topic has been brought up 100s of times but I’ve done a couple races on my banshee I’ve got alba +2 arms, toomey t6 pipes, alba nerf bars, bored over a bit with boyeson reeds and k&n pods etc but i wanna get into desert racing more and I was wondering if you guys could help me out on if I should keep the shee or get a 450 if I keep the shee what should I do to it etc Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

gusto Posted March 19, 2019 Report Share Posted March 19, 2019 Look at the dirt wheels article on a banshee built for desert racing. You’ll need long travel a arms, stock length swingarm, Elka rear link or move your shock mount on frame (DWs article), large tank, dc conversion for big lights. Your pipes are good bottom end pipe for stock motor, I would go PC for mid range.
