Alish2044
Hi, I have a 1998 banshee and i recently put in a new top end. I sprayed starter fluid down the air filter than I kicked it to see spark and no spark. Bypassed key and kill switch still no spark. Checked stator and fly wheel there both fine. So I think it’s a wiring harness since there are 2-3 rats in my garage. It could also be a cdi. What do you guys think?
Keno
http://www.dfn.com/agservices/elecfaq.html Verify everything is plugged in. Get a DMM and test Stator, Coil, Plug Caps. Check Wiring harness for continuity between connectors. Test a known working CDI. How did you bypass the key by tying the black and red wires together? Have you tried unplugging the Tors? If your harness is messed up, buy a new one here https://www.facebook.com/kompulsiveconcepts/
