andrew.s
So I went riding this weekend at sandlake in Oregon and when I'm pinning it for more then like 15 seconds the bike just looses all power like I turned the bike off and I have to pull the clutch in rev it a bit then it's fine again. Any reason this could be happening?
SKEETER
Probably a cry for help

Canadianshee
What do the plugs look like, what jet's are in the carbs. When was the bike last running well, was there a large elevation change where you were riding. Sent from my LG-H873 using Tapatalk

SKEETER
Well, my advice would be to pull carbs off, and get jet sizes, few of us live in orygun and know what that motor will need at sandlake, florence, etc.
n2otoofast4u
It's cold as F around here right now. I'd start with jet sizing as Skeet suggested.

I'm gonna use air filter oil next time and the jets are 290s idk if I just fixed my problem I won't know till I go riding next but my left carb pours gas out of the over flow when I turn the gas on and I have to turn the gas off then back on again and it's fine not sure what this means
kawa110
Means carbs need more attention. The fuel valve needle and seat may need replaced/or float height set.
mercury65
Let me give you something to look for. I bought mine new from dealer rode it one time then put on the Toomey t5 kit all was good, 4 weekends later the motor locked up. as I pulled it apart I started finding sand within. long story short the stock air filter foam ring rolled up at the bottom as the filter was slid down into the air box that was the last time the stock box was on my shee
Jeffyjeff
Try lowering the gap on the spark plug and see if that helps at all
