Rhino-1
Can I run a stock link/shock set up on a no-link Swingarm? I bought a beautiful arched, chrome Swingarm, but just realized it’s a no-link arm (the shock mount ears are pointing down)... 🤦🏻♂️ Edited February 8, 2019 by Rhino-
SKEETER
Usually no link are narrower mounts if I remember correctly. Either way, it's not gonna be proper with a link. Best bet is getting a no link shock , if wanting to keep swingarm. Is your stock link shock setup for a +12?
Rhino-1
Negative. It’s set up for a +6 (the Swingarm on it measures out at 25.5”). For some reason, I thought my Swingarm was longer (must have measured wrong), but at +6, and being aero-tubed and well-built, I’m thinking I should keep this one. Lol. SKEETER
I would. No point in going +12 unless strictly drag racing, AND you need it. Sell the +12 , spend $ on hookers n blow JMO
