camp0429 Posted October 19, 2018 Report Share Posted October 19, 2018 I can offer you a bit of advice on replacing your reeds, I always use a little Yamabond to seal both sides of the reed and the intake. vanillaGorilla33 Posted November 17, 2018 Report Share Posted November 17, 2018 If the reed cage or intake boot is leaking it will cause a high idle. I just had this problem, on a ‘96 even.
