So during my last XC race my bike caught on fire at my wiring harness from spilt fuel. I replaced the harness and the coil that were damaged but now it won’t fire up. I have spark and fuel but is it possible the new coil I got is backwards and causing the spark to happen 180* out of time? Any helpful advice is welcome.

Could they be firing at the wrong time? Like on the scavenging stroke instead of compression stroke?

Sure, if your timing key is gone or fucked up.
