Fearnot
New -1 Lonestar swingarm just came in and I'm looking for the best rear shock to go with a 2+1 Lonestar Dc-pro A-Arm with Fox Evol Rc2 shocks up front. Any info at all with what people have had success pairing with the Fox shocks would help a ton. Budget isn't an issue and this is a woods bike. Thanks for your time. gusto
Nice swingarm. https://www.ridefox.com/product.php?m=moto&t=shocks&p=3341 keep it Fox I guess, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy any of the big suspension companies rear shock if you have the cheddar though. Might as well get the Elka link too.

locogato11283
I run Fox Podiums on every bike I have.
Fearnot
So it seems to be just run fox with the fox. The elka linkage says to run with a elka LT shock but is that just them(elka) trying to keep their proprietary set up? Helps been great so far.
ClaudeMachining
Are you a drag guy?? No?? Then buy an Elka LT setup, simple as that. Envoyé de mon SM-G935W8 en utilisant Tapatalk
RagunCajun
If budget doesnt matter, isnt there higher teir shock/shock builders out there? I personally wouldnt need that due to my low level of skill but OP may.

locogato11283
Not one single person on this forum will notice the difference with the Elka LT shock and linkage. No one.
kawa110
I’m on the fence on spending that kinda money for a link, when I feel that a far better tuned and built shock would make up for....But I really don’t know or have any experience. One think I know is the stock chassis and suspension can not keep up with even a stock motor or me. My kidneys will be killing me sometimes after good hard weekend riding.

If buy the link and then the same length fox shock as the elks shock is supposed to be, does the Fox outperform or need to be valved for the link? locogato11283
Fox Podium for Banshee only comes in one length, OEM. If you think you’ll be able to mix and match the Podium with Elka rear linkage, you’re mistaken. Reality is, no one on BansheeHQ is going to use the Elka linkage to its full potential. I'll call derisi on Monday and see how much having it revalved and setup for myself will cost.
