b_a_n_s_h_e_e
What is the best chain for dune riding, and drag racing. I am getting an extended swingarm, and need a new chain. Should I get a D.I.D.? An X-ring, O-ring? Help!!! Also, who makes the best chain sliders/roller combo kit? Thanks, -Troy
Blue Duece
i like the cheap oem chains they seem to be light and your bike coasts well with them, you replace them more often though, just my 2 cents
b_a_n_s_h_e_e
what about chain rollers/sliders? What is a good brand??? Is one better than another?
Blue Duece
i dont think one would work better than the other...just kinda keeps your chain in check, alot of guys go with the colored ones to match the bike.....im still using my stockers they seem to be in good shape...i use bearing grease on the forward roller and just clean the inside of the back one out when ever i have my chain off....you can find them on ebay or most aftermarket houses carry them.....nice looking bike by the way
b_a_n_s_h_e_e
Thanks...It's going to look even more cool after I get my Denton +2+1 A Arms, Works dual rate shocks w/rezzies, and +2 swing arm..
frocashmoney24
cant wait to see wat it looks like with your new goodies, as for a chain stick with a o-ring like D.I.D or renthal
boonman
If I was strictly running sand, I would go with a non oring. And didn't cascade have a nice slider setup?
Justintoxicated
my stock O-ring lasted a long time in the sand, but I just replaced it with a D.I.D. X ring since it supposed to seal better than a standard O-ring.
raxen
Upgrade your drivetrain to a 530 o Chain
banshee tuner
I run the d.i.d. x ring and love it. I have not had much luck with chain rollers and don't know anyone that has. My next step is a slider.
MULLET~BOY
how much douse it cost to go to a 530 chain set up i have always wonderd that
Leadfoot350
Does the 530 weigh more? Also if you get a +6 swing arm or longer you will need a 130 link chain and those are hard to find. Regina makes a 130. You will need to buy two chains and link them together if not. A +6 takes 126 links just to let you know.
