It does suck that there isn’t a consolidated source of information out there for the suspension stuff. Even more so, the knowledge that you have to give your suspension the attention it needs is basically nonexistent.

18" front tire, what are you gay?


Smaller tires dig better. Makes it corner more precisely and brake harder, but it only works for good dirt. Hard clay and sand need 20” or so.

You should just do a yfz/shee hybrid. 


In the interest of keeping it banshee related and making a fun play toy, I 100% agree.

On the other hand, I don’t think a hybrid is going to be the fastest around a track because of the lack of bottom end power.

Tbh, I’ve always wanted to build a 14mil super serval for a YFZR chassis, but who the fuck can justify that for MX?

Has anyone done bigger than a 10mil serval yet?


I honestly have no clue. I know Cam has a 73.5 or 74.5 piston for the supers and can do a 14mil on new oem cases, but in a serval would be news to me. A 74.5x68 (592) definitely needs some custom pipes though.

So I have the motor almost together am gonna be installing it wensday.  Starting to look into jetting because that's gonna be next wfter I break it in. I am running a single 35mm pwk  airstriker. Need to find jets and recommendations.
