yamahaman244
Need some direction, my cousin has a 87 banshee ran fine down the road last weekend and then on the way home went to running on one cylinder. We put new plugs, went though his carbs he even got new ones. Reeds are good, compression is good. It will rev decent once you get it started and give it gas past half throttle. Once you let off the gas it dies . Right side is hot left side just warm. Bad stator or Cdi? He's lost on what else to check.
Keno
If there is spark on one side the stator and cdi are fine due to the banshee being a wasted spark ignition. Cut back the spark wires. New Plug Boots NGK LB05F Make sure there isn't a plugged jet. Sync the carbs
Larry's Shee
My son's was like that when bought. Cleaned poles on stator and timing"nubs" on outside of flywheel. Also check pickup gap.
