christoph.tamz
Let's hear your stories of when you bought your shee and what other people did that's just dumb. I'll start with mine. It's an 01 and bought it not running. Well. It took me 5 minutes to figure this out. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
ZillaFreak
Bought a fresh rebuilt banshee for $500, guy couldn't get it started. Five minute after getting it home, it was running. The guy put the wrong electric dick into the wrong electric hole for the key.
bluebanshee98
Bought one for 550. Guy thought top end was bad and took head off. Bike wouldn’t start. After going though the bike the stator wire was broke. Put top end back on and threw my spare stator I had in. Bike fired right up no prob. Jetted accordingly and put a spare coil on. Bike ran mint. That was nice flip made over 1k
BlackandYellowBanshee
Buddy gave me his banshee. Wouldn’t run. Fuel line from the petcock was running uphill over the boost bottle. Carbs weren’t getting fuel. Sold it for $1000 three days after he gave it to me. I wish I had more friends like him.
christoph.tamz
Gotta love dumb people. I bought it with those plugs like that and the guy swore it ran. I said How? Your mechanic sucks. Needless to say I bought the right stator from rm. I paid 3 grand for mine with a shit ton of work done to it. VegasJeff
I bought a banshee from a guy because the oil was mixing with the coolant and I knew it was the water pump seal. So he offered me the bike and a blown up one for $900 and within an hour, I popped on a new seal and sold off everything else.Sent from my LG-TP450 using Tapatalk
