Big bore

Recommended Posts

Hello again all, I am back again with more questions. Lol  Everyone is always such a big help here, Thank you!

I need to order domes for my cool head. It is a 4 mill stroker crank with 115 rods and weisco ultra stroker pistons. Any dome I find for a stroker is for a big bore? So at what bore size do they consider it to be a big bore? My pistons are 65.00 so .40 over. Sorry if this is a silly question.... Thanks again!!

big bore domes are for 68mm bores.  You just need a stroker dome.  You typically cant find stroker domes off the shelf, you have to have a set custom made.  You definitely want to know what thickness your cylinder base gasket is before you order your stroker domes as this will effect the squish tolerance.
