Banshee rookie78
Who is a good builder that I could call and ask questions?! I have a 4mil stroker crank with long rods, pc platinum pipes, advance timingplate, bored 40 thou over , minor porting, vforce reeds (may order the vforce 4),stock carbs, modquad cool head, and trinity clutch plates. My question is what jets should I have, what position should I set the needle jet, what domes should I run ( I’m thinking 21cc because I want to stay on pump gas), I’m about 700’ above sea level. I only trail ride. Thank you for any contacts or please feel free to leave your input! 🍻

ride.race.live
You could get a hold of a good few site sponsors on here but they wont be able to hold your hand through the whole process. As far as your location for builders, your pretty limited in my opinion on reputable shops that know the banshee well enough to be able to give you any kind of logical input. (im just East of Ottawa) I tend to deal with FAST now and days when I have any questions but I have spent some $$$ there. Who did your porting and roughly what kind of porting was done? Was it done properly for a 4mil? if you have a proper built 4mil you cant just run any off the shelf domes. contacting a builder with your port specs would be the best route to take to ensure you land where you want it to be as far as compression goes and other more specific specs such as squish ect... for jetting... im not super familiar with stock carbs but i'd say you would be around 27.5 to maybe a 30 pilot and i'd start off with a 380 main which should be rich (someone correct me if im wrong)
Ducman
21 cc domes could be right on the edge for pump fuel, 22 cc would be a safe bet. You'll need custom cut stroker domes to accommodate the piston going +2 mm above the top of the cylinder. You'll want to use the correct thickness base gasket the domes are cut for, or you could put the cylinders on and measure the deck height and then order domes to get the most accurate squish. Otherwise the builder making the domes has to make the squish a little bigger to be safe. You should definitely get the cylinders ported for the +4 stroke if they aren't already. 27.5 or 30 pilot, adjust needle to the best seat of the pants feel, 360 mains should be rich enough depending on the porting. If you have a builder port the cylinders they should be able to give you jetting specs that are real close.
gusto
Is this engine running or being built? I had a similar engine with the same pipes. You can get away with 21cc domes but I would go 22. Pilot will be 27.5 and a 320 main should be safe to start. Try your slides in the middle position.

Quebexico..... but at that point by the time you get him to port your cylinders.... you could have a whole new as cast Driveline top end for the same cost to your door.
