BBoy69
Just bought another banshee & I’m pretty sure these aren’t 34mm Keihin carbs aren’t the real things I’m 9/10 times sure that these are the carbs that’s on eBay. I was wondering has anybody ran them? Are they good? Or should I scrap em’ and buy stockers. https://www.ebay.com/i/253092302705?chn=ps&dispItem=1&ul_ref=http%3A%2F%2Frover.ebay.com%2Frover%2F1%2F711-117182-37290-0%2F2%3Fmpre%3Dhttps%253A%252F%252Fwww.ebay.com%252Fi%252F253092302705%253Fchn%253Dps%2526dispItem%253D1%26itemid%3D253092302705%26targetid%3D399487607482%26device%3Dm%26adtype%3Dpla%26googleloc%3D9012813%26poi%3D%26campaignid%3D1029894180%26adgroupid%3D52284593482%26rlsatarget%3Daud-384261923227%3Apla-399487607482%26abcId%3D1130056%26merchantid%3D118876358%26gclid%3DCj0KCQjwhoLWBRD9ARIsADIRaxTXcVDpiql4-u9w_5c_LNHkGJv4qd2FpmWo50L2a0Fjhgw77lJ-kVQaAlBtEALw_wcB%26srcrot%3D711-117182-37290-0%26rvr_id%3D1485748340410

Canada
I tryed a few ebay pwk on various bikes, they can be made to work. Say on a old vintage bike you just want to get running again. That said its just not really worth it, some are not made right at all and if not checked over can cause damage, they also can never be compared to a genuine keihin. Jet specs other members may have use for the same setup... will be very different jetting. And supporting people that rip off first world country genuine parts is bad enough. Check out this guys video its a bit goofy but dose cover some things that are big drawbacks to a knockoff https://youtu.be/_E4xW_wzvTQ Edited April 2, 2018 by Canada
BlackandYellowBanshee
They are not the real deal. The dead giveaway is “keihin style” and the price is another giveaway. Notice how they don’t show any pictures show keihin on the carb. I have zero experience with these, but I do know that Iv learned the hard way that buying cheap is not the way to go on these. It causes way more headache than the extra savings are worth. I’m pretty sure new PWKs go for around $330 or so. Not a bad idea to look around on the for sale section, as carbs come up every now and then

BlackandYellowBanshee
Yea it’s all about what you want to run. I really like my PWK’s and have zero experience with stock Mikunis. I have heard PWK’s are easier to tune but since I haven’t fiddled with stock, I can’t verify that.
Toybreaker
Knowledge is the great equalizer.... once you know how each carb works they are all "pretty" easay to tune. Started tuning 2 strokes with an 87 LT250r that had a 34mm pj. went to a cr500 with a 39mm pwk then on to a banshee with stock carbs. I personally liked the PJ the best....
