gizmoman
As the title states, I'm debating on getting back into the banshee game as a summer project. Basically building a shee from the ground up without a doner bike. I've got the chassis components almost figured out but the engine I have not. I don't want to start this project and find out later the engine is outrageously expensive. Essentially I'm just trying to figure out how much it would be to fill a set of empty cases with new OEM parts. Only talking about the bottom end here minus the crank. I'm gonna go with a 10mil 521 serval and already have a basic idea of what those components cost. I'm thinking about buying an engine stand and taking this project on for myself, as it would be a good learning experience. Offtopic: Who can I speak too about getting my username changed? I don't want to make a new account just to change names. Edited March 8, 2018 by gizmoman
Canadianshee
Much more cost effective if you pick up a used bottom end and replace what is needed with new. If you go online (motorsport ECT) you can select all the parts you need to see a rough idea of cost if you get everything new.

Or go on Facebook and look for West Coast ATV Parts. They can hook you up. It'd cost you Tyler Clark bucks to piece together a new OEM bottom end
Larry's Shee
All I know is that cases are $600+ on F.A.S.T. site
