specialblend07
It'll make it stiffer, however it isn't the right way to go about it.
kawa110
^^thats pretty much what I concluded but I know very little and wasn’t sure...How do I determine spring rates? I have a rear dual spring stock shock, And some axis triple spring fronts(all need rebuilt) that I plan on using.

97Screamer
1 hour ago, kawa110 said: Maybe this... That will tell you what rates you have but a very small error in dimensions will change the stiffness quite a bit. Really just a tool to get you in the ballpark of your current stiffness, not an exact number. You need a compression tester to get the exact number. This also doesn't help you determine the rates you need. Racetech calculator will get you close on the rear. I would think Fireball would be able to get you close on the fronts. If you need to change springs on the fronts better bust out the piggy bank. Each spring will cost $60-$120 in my experience so if you have 6 springs you're better off selling the shocks and buying ones setup for you already IMO. Rear shock with one or two springs is a little easier to stomach.
