I kept removing material in the throttle body housing until the arm inside had enough throw to fully open the carbs. There's one guy on the hq group on FB that says his opened 39's. Refused to take a few minutes to pop the top for the thumb throttle housing cover open to show me what he did to make it work along with refusing to remove the air filters to show me the carbs fully open. ride.race.live
Claude I had the chariot extended thumb lever. I never noticed any tension difference when I went from my 35's to 39's. But I will say it took some time to get a hang of the extended thumb lever.
RagunCajun
I think cam put easier springs in my 39's. It isnt bad at all. The only bad part is my short stuby fingers. I have to release my full grip to push the lever in from idle. Ill be getting a chariot one of these days.

ClaudeMachining
So here is a little dull video of the bike running, you can ear the thing rip a little bit. Thumb was killing me, so i go light. When i came back from this ride, i decided to lube the cable, re-route it (there was a little kink) and cut 2 coils from the springs. It worked!!! Now i have about the same feel, even maybe a little bit easier than my last to seasons with 35mm!!! Will do a ride tomorrow and see. https://youtu.be/KGUY558eK3k

Ayesully810
When I put my 7mil together this year I picked up some carbs from ben martins and they had the oem keihin springs in it, I just switched to the easy springs from fast and its crazy how much easier it is on the thumb. I had them in my 421 i had and forgot how much the difference is between the two.

All I had to do was use the longer Keihin adjusters from FAST and grind the nub in the throttle housing.
