BlackandYellowBanshee
Just got my goody box full of parts from fast for my Serval. Got everything together. Leak down tested good. Squish in spec for pump gas. I fired it up. No problem. Idled but died about 3 Times in 10 min. Tried messing with idle screw. I’m about 3 turns out which I want to say tells me I’m too rich on the pilot. They started me out with a 62 pilot which I thought sounded really rich. 35 pwks. 1090 ft above sea level. Dune port. It’s colder than hell out so I can’t do the riding portion of my break in, but I’d like to do some heat cycles in the garage. Wondering if maybe a 58 pilot sounds right. I’m calling them tomorrow for their recommended break in. I’ll also ask them what they think. Suggestions?

Ayesully810
just my opinion, but its winter, why even go through all that right now when you cant even ride. Will take you almost no time to break in your motor come riding season. Your just gunna have to rejet come spring/ summer, especially summer. 62 pilot is huge, doubt youill need anything bigger than a 52 once its hot out, and even that will be rich probably Edited January 2, 2018 by Ayesully810

I’m going to hold off until warmer weather. Sucks looking at it all winter but that’s life.

Great time. When you get done, you feel like there is a void. Like you “should” be out in the garage turning a wrench. Kind of how I feel like I “should” be dialing in my quad, but like you said, waiting is smarter and rewarding in the long run.
JUSTWANNARACE
No reason imo to get it close now.. you get it jetted right on bottom now and you'll be a little rich when the weather warms up. And won't be mad when you are ready to ride and realize it's not even close and have to wait on parts. Jmo
