sneeky
a fellow aussie hq supporter told me it is possible to double up the gasket between the cylinders and the case and shave the head, which would effectively raise the ports and transfers, while maintaining similar compression (theoretically, may be lower static comp. but higher when the band comes in). has anyone done this and what sort of power gains would be possible/probable
erbilabuc
i have never seen it done to a banshee but it is the "cheap" but effetive way to do it. My friend did it on his integra
fixitrod
You may be raising them but you are not gaining port open duration. You'll just be changing the timing. It seems you may gain some rpms but loose torque, but I'm not positive. A lot of builders don't raise the exhaust port. They re-shape them.
