Now, I would first try cleaning the carbs and look for any dirt in there. Then, make sure the idle mixture screws on the side of the carbs are about 1.5 turns out from seated. banshee04le Posted January 4, 2004 Report Share Posted January 4, 2004 hey guys, Just put my carbs back together, started my bike and it starts beautiful. i have the idle screws set to about 3 full turns from closed and when i it idles it idles high and vibrates alot, then i click it into first and the idle drops to normal someone PLEASE help and my carbs are very clean, its got brand spankink new plugs and fuel. Thanks in advance. your buddy who said "face it adam your bike is fucked" probably cranked on your sync screws while you werent looking...still got the TORS?
