Need Good Welder For Hayabushee

I suck at welding and need a welder to cut, jig, and weld the frame back together to incorporate a hayabusa subframe. I was hoping maybe some of you have had good expeiences with welders around your region because all I am having around here is a horrible experience in MO.

I know that some of you have probably had your frames stretched so let me know. The guy that did my last stretch on my other mud drag shee in WV died last summer so I am on the look again.

For small annd odd jobs I use a Lincoln SP-175 Plus. Actually, it is usually my welder of choice. it handles almost any job I do unless I'm welding 1/2" in a single pass. You just simply need more power for that heavier shit. Now, I am guessing, that you are fairly inexperienced with welding. Therefore, a Mig welder like the one above is an EXCELLENT choice for a do everything machine. The best welds, looking and otherwise can be had from Tig welding, but a fair amount of experience and patience is needed and crucial to a strong and good looking weld. if i was building a chassis, I myself would mostl ikely Tig weld it. However, a Mig welder will do just the same, although you may have to grind your welds down a little bit to make them pretty, I would NOT recommend going the cheap route and getting a flux core welder. it will not make the kind of weld that you would be proud of. it is possible, but very tough. And the gasless welders (flux cored wire) are usually 110 volt, and do not have a good duty cycle. I own one. I do use it, but in this situation, the gas sheilded one would be the right choice...

My dad has some tig and mig welders but he is old and his eyesight is leaving him slowly. I have tried to learn to weld several times from him but it is really an art. I am not that good and am looking for someone who is a good welder that would do it for some cash or parts.
