gunnin4elvis
Hey all good morning, so I swapped my outer crank bearings with a TZ and Max Ball. Here is my new issue, the new bearings do not have the locator pins in the outer race that seat into the cases. Who has done this swap and run into this and what did you do to ensure the bearings stayed put? I have 2 different suggestions from friends and would love to hear what has worked for any of you so I can move on to my next unforeseen issue! I thank you all for any input
trickedcarbine
Not needed. Put a lil' dab of blue Loctite on the race before dropping the crank in.

That was one of the things we were thinking about doing.
trickedcarbine
That'd probably do just fine. Keep it to a minimum since you don't want it oozing out and also be mindful of the next rebuild. Shit is a pain.
