Baileycakes
I want to buy the top end kit. The banshee top end is stock right now, never been changed. i want to keep it simple, basic top end change. Can someone tell me from the chart which one to buy. i heard it is .25 over to 64.25 but i just want to be 100% sure. (i dont know if any upgrades i had done to the bike will affect which size to go up to but this is what has been done so far; vforce 4 reeds, fmf fatty golds, tors removed, jet kit, pro design flow with K&n) here is the link to wiseco... http://www.wiseco.com/ProductSearch.aspx Thanks all
ZillaFreak
First figure out what your current size is. Make sure. Then you need to bore out any damage that might be in it, then go up to the next time.
Baileycakes
i never had the top end open or changed. isnt stock size 64??
ZillaFreak
stock is 64, but always best to double check. also need to check the bore to make sure no deep scratches that need to be cleaned up with a bore. really shouldn't buy pistons till the machine shop tells you want size you need. bansheesandrider
Take it to a reputable shop that will bore it AND supply the correct size pistons with the clearances already set.
Baileycakes
i dont want to over pay, what is a fair price to have 2 cylinders bored? i am having a hard time finding a shop to do it, all i can find is people who want to take it and have it done.. but they are adding their fee and then dropping it off somewhere else to do..
