specialblend07
Looking at a 1911, want something pretty that I can fuck off rounds at the cabin with. So far I have on my list: STI Les Baer Kimber Wilson Combat I'd like to get some opinions on what else I should be looking at, if anything? Also, I was thinking of going .45ACP, but would be open to other calibers above 9mm
Burke
Stay away from new Kimber stuff. Sig with the fastback grip is by far my favorite 1911's out, but the purists hate them because they changed the extractor
Schweet97Z
Everyone will have an opinion on what is best. I’m a Kimber .45acp guy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

gusto
Para sti springfield are my favs. Buy the 22 conversion kit. You’ll be blown away at how much money you’ve spent shooting
specialblend07
Anyone have reviews on Coonan? Also, I’ll never buy another 22. We have so many of the stupid things. We give them to people we have up that have never shot. That’s about all they’re good for IMO. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

specialblend07
People on 1911 talk and also the reviews. Sounds like it’s a top tier gun plus they look sexy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Burke
May as well go 10mm or .38Super while your going big money. I'd love to go with either of those calibers, but it would get too expensive after several thousand rounds a year.
specialblend07
Everyone is telling to stay away from 10mm for a few reasons. One was ammo availability, and two was size of the gun. I guess it’s longer due to shell size or something. I dunno. I thought about it and am still open to thatThe Coonan .357 can shoot 38’s as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
