raxen Posted December 9, 2003 Report Posted December 9, 2003 yeah, pretty much. Their right down there with ptr's. Quote
raxen Posted December 9, 2003 Report Posted December 9, 2003 I give you that, what price are we talkin'? Quote
Screamin_Banshee Posted December 9, 2003 Report Posted December 9, 2003 For the money they are a DAMN GOOD (DG ) PIPE, dont be fooled be hear say. If your on a budget, but want performance of an aftermarket pipe, DG isnt a bad option. Quote
frocashmoney24 Posted December 9, 2003 Report Posted December 9, 2003 i actualy heard that they are worse then stock! Quote
raxen Posted December 9, 2003 Report Posted December 9, 2003 I don't know personally but I had the opportunity to race a few equipped before. If you want a cheap and nice pipe, go with used Pro Circuit or used T3, alot of people don't realize the potential of good ol' T3's. Pro Circuits have that distinct low-mid hit that is proceless but that is all they have. Quote
ledofthezep Posted December 9, 2003 Report Posted December 9, 2003 Pro Circuits have that distinct low-mid hit that is proceless but that is all they have. I didn't notice a whole hell of a lot of top-end loss compared to my previous T5's...they're better all around IMHO, but like you said there is a bit of loss up top, but it's not night/day. Quote
Atvrider_96 Posted December 9, 2003 Author Report Posted December 9, 2003 the pipes are only 100.00 dollars and they are brand new so only if i win them on ebay. they are crome and they look awsome and i am on a tight tight budget as a college student student but you can't have stock pipes on. Can they really be worse than stock because it has to make some what of a difference right. Quote
raxen Posted December 9, 2003 Report Posted December 9, 2003 For 100 they are worth every penny. That is damn cheap. Quote
SCOTT PRESSLEY Posted December 10, 2003 Report Posted December 10, 2003 100.00 for pipes and silencers, that is cheap. For that price you can buy them to see if you like them or not,if not sell them.Good luck Quote
mrmatt Posted December 10, 2003 Report Posted December 10, 2003 The DGs definately aren't the best pipe. But they are an improvement over stock. I run them, because I traded my stock rear tires for a set. I hope to replace them with a better set someday, but until then, I'll remain happy with the performance gain that was essentially free. Atvrider_96 Posted December 10, 2003 Author Report Posted December 10, 2003 well i made some mods to my banshee and for the price i figured that it would not be bad and they look like they are in excelent condition. If i don't win them on ebay i am just going to bid on a set of fmf fatties. My banshee is pritty much stock besides the fact that i put a new top end on it and i milled my head i am just looking for little mods that i can afford right know until i make more money. Quote
Atvrider_96 Posted December 10, 2003 Author Report Posted December 10, 2003 mrmatt how are they. I know they are not the best but you can still see a difference right. Quote
D34 Posted December 10, 2003 Report Posted December 10, 2003 my buddy raced with a set of them 4 about a yr... the pipes didnt fit well but they do make pretty good power... dont b fooled just because they r a cheap pipe... with portin he dyno'ed it at 57 hp... we changed his setup (which gave it more power), put t5's on it and now it has 64 hp... the change from dg 2 t5 did not make that big of difference... i would recommend them if ur on a tite budget...
