06YFZ350
I recently bought some parts for my banshee from FAST Racing, I got a modified shift change rod and also a modded shift star and roller bearing. I also replaced the eccentric screw with a new one but when i go to adjust it my shift change is not moving enough for it it sit in the center of the shift shift star pins. Am i possibly doing something wrong? i can post pictures if you guys can tell me what you need to see. Thanks! trickedcarbine
On a stock trans, you really won't be able to walk the trans through all the gears by hand unless you are spinning the sprocket part of the shaft by hand as well.
06YFZ350
I spun the tires and shifted it by hand it seemed to go into the gears, I put it all back together tonight so I'm hoping I did it correctly. I still need to figure out how to get the vent hose back into the trans case and reinstall the kicker and fill it with oil and coolant. I went to my local shop and they sold me bel ray oil for the trans so i need to fill it up still. I actually am working on it myself because i got fucked by some one who was doing work on my atvs so im learning as I go.

These things are actually pretty easy once you go through it all one time.
sleeper06
Did you get a new torsion spring as well, if not they groove and make adjustments tough to get rite
Ayesully810
tricked is right. as long as the claw that grabs the pins on the star are where its suppose to be "via the manual" it will shift like its suppose to. I bench tested mine a bunch of times and it still didn't shift through all gears perfect but it was adjusted perfectly. when I started it up it shifted perfect.
