Eric2057
I'm going to be changing my clutch cover gasket in a few days. I'm going to drain out all the tranny fluid but I'm wondering about the coolant? Do I need to drain it out of the bike and motor so I can pull the side cover off? Basically need a step by step on how to change the gasket. Thanks in advance!
salmon_slayer06
You will have to drain coolant. It's messy you don't want it to stay on anything painted. Just have hose nearby and rinse any painted surfaces... upgrading to the stainless Alan bolts make removing clutch cover easier. Take a philips and use a mallet and tap each screw to help break them loose. The impact will help break them loose.
Eric2057
Okay thanks for the reply! My bike has a lockout cover on it and already has Allen heads for the bolts on the cover.
