So I'm in sort of a jam here I'm gonna be purchasing my next quad in less than a week and I have a choice between a 03 banshee with basically just t5's and a raptor with just a 734cc big bore kit in it & need some help on which do you guys think would be faster any opinion is appreciated.

03 Banshee

-Toomey t5's

-k&n pods

-+4 timing

-21cc domes

-stock crank

-driveline 392 big bore cylinders

-stock carbs

Raptor 734

-Dual Monster exhaust

-Pro design intake/k&n air filter

-Hot cam stage 3

-734 bbk with high compression piston

A few changes to the banshee would put u out front. More compression, fuel change and better pipes to name a few. How mechanically inclined are you? The banshee will be much easier to wrench on.

I'm pretty mechanically incline I've rebuilt both before and the banshee was somewhat a little easier because I didnt have to deal with valves and everything like the raptor has

If the banshee is ported decently then i'd say it should be close to each other.. could go either way....  (as your asking which is faster)

However you say the banshee still has a stock crank = its going to separate if it hasn't been welded.
Ooo yeah forgot about that

raptor should be faster
I'm honestly leaning that way because of two things on banshee and thats mixing gas and rebuild times my brother has a 06 raptor he bought of the showroom never been opened till this day

Bucks turbo raptor was a beast. Vids of him spanking his 421 redline on pavement on youtube.
