gunnin4elvis Posted August 31, 2017 Report Posted August 31, 2017 Just wondering who has taken off a steering stem bearing nut and what did you use to do it and is it regular thread or reverse thread. Thanks for the help Quote
Schweet97Z Posted August 31, 2017 Report Posted August 31, 2017 http://m.ebay.com/itm/152195456087?_mwBanner=1That and an impact. If I remember correctly regular thread. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
bansheekx Posted August 31, 2017 Report Posted August 31, 2017 A 3/4" bolt with a inch and 1/8 head that has 2 nuts locked together on it will work just as well. Quote

special06shee Posted September 2, 2017 Report Posted September 2, 2017 You can also use a chisel and hammer to get it out. Just take your time if you plan on reusing it. Quote

sleeper06 Posted September 2, 2017 Report Posted September 2, 2017 I can ship you something if you can't find anything, I welded a 1/2 socket to a bolt and used an impact gun. Pre luv it n let in sit. As stated a chisel/punch would work just be careful Quote
rjdgriff Posted September 2, 2017 Report Posted September 2, 2017 Does a spark plug socket work on that? Pull the rubber out and put it on an extension backwards? I have used one like that for something and was thinking it was for the stem nut but I don't remember for sureGiving away "TSS" for FREE!!! Quote
Lowflyin Posted September 2, 2017 Report Posted September 2, 2017 I ground a piece of metal to fit and welded a 1/2" bar on it for a wrench.Sent from my LG-H820 using Tapatalk Quote

Worked perfect. I welded the nut to the bolt. The 1 1/8 head is a little sloppy in there but I was able to use a ratchet so slop wasn't a problem like it may be if an impact was slapping it back and forth. Thanks again Quote
