Lowflyin Posted August 24, 2017 Report Posted August 24, 2017 I've been looking for a poly skid plate, ive never used one but think it will suit me well for fast trails and xc. Does anybody know who sells or makes any? If not best option for a metal skid? What are people doing for rear end protection also? I currently have a stock swing arm and plan to go with a stellar within the next couple months so i didn't really want one that only bolts to the stocker.. Are those rings worth a damn for protection? What would i do about the rotor side in that case? Thanks for your input Sent from my LG-H820 using Tapatalk Quote
ginger Posted August 24, 2017 Report Posted August 24, 2017 i have the sprocket and rotor guard from JDS, they work great. i dont run a frame skid, so i cant provide any feedback on them, i hate how much crap they hold Quote

IceracerX Posted August 24, 2017 Report Posted August 24, 2017 I would go with a plastic one, will slide better. Buy a sheet from Mcmaster Car, cardboard template. But anything gonna wear your pc. Turn it into a drag bike and you won't have to worry about it! Quote

I'm not sure where i could get the type of mounts I would need, really dont want to use hose clamps and rubberSent from my LG-H820 using Tapatalk Quote

trickedcarbine Posted August 25, 2017 Report Posted August 25, 2017 There was a cool write up from a fella on here showing how to template and cut a Poly sheet and mounted it using some U bolts. Quote
