Baileycakes
I am considering replacing the top end on my banhsee. Just bought a Clymers and found this article... Is this article correct in spraying WD-40 into the cylinders after washing them ??? Why not coat with 2 stroke oil instead? http://www.outdoorlife.com/articles/atvs/2009/01/workshop-top-end-check And is there anything else I should be aware of?? Any tips?? Thanks
hoppedupandcutdown
The WD in WD-40 literally stands for water displacement. Not that I've ever used anything but premix oil, but that sounds like a better idea to prevent flash rust.

Baileycakes
Nice I'll order a can of that MPPL.. I know the wiseco are good pistons but is it worth it to pay a little more and get these cylinders too? Or are the OEM on the quad better and I should just reuse them?? http://m.ebay.com/itm/Yamaha-Banshee-YFZ350-Standard-Bore-64mm-Cylinders-Wiseco-Pistons-Top-End-Gasket-/142322800776
kawa110
I get the mppl in the chain care kit from maxima, cleaner, water displacer and chain wax.
