Bamabansheeboy
So I'm very frustrated , bought a banshee and it has a cool had , toomey t6 exahaust and sprockets. The power band wouldnt kick in a couple people told me it was thw carbs. I got tired of messing with them so I went with the trinity 2 into since I trail ride mostly. So I got it yesterday and got it on this morning. It fired right up isles nice which it wasnt doing with the dual carbs. Well I get excited jump on take off and when the power band supposed to kick in same thing. Its almost like it hits a rev limiter or something. Any ideas or suggestions? hoppedupandcutdown
Depending on the year, It could have a park brake rev limiter, although it usually comes on sooner than that. Look for a green/yellow wire at the CDI and cut it and tape it off.
hoppedupandcutdown
If it's not that, try trimming back your spark plug wires a little to get fresh contact. Might also ohm test the spark plug caps (boots)
