sleeper06
You might end up at a 42-45 pilot , what needle do you have in there it greatly effects the state of tune on a single. I wouldn't touch that main until you get the needle n pilots worked out . 188 sounds about rite from my experience. After you get the bike idling good you should plug chop it for the main main. If you ride the coals find a good hill and chop it under load on the hill . If you jet it on flat ground you might be lean on a good pull up the hill. Look up proper plug chop and adapt it to the hill

sleeper06
Can't make out letters, what does it say. Yes the needle effects the widest spectrum of tune . If you want knowledge go on keihin website and start reading about the needle selection. Each letter on the needle effects different throttle positions . That's the difference between good and great

JUSTWANNARACE
If your main jet is to large for the needle you are running you will get bleed by on the needle and main that will effect the pilot circuit.. just something to think about

kawa110
What brand needle would be the best for stock carbs? Or will that depend on what size main jet I end up with on my tune?
