LT BANSHEE SETUP HELP, for a noob

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone my name is Randy and I a a noob!!!!

Need a little help finding out what a arms will work with my suspension set up ,,

long story short , I acquired some extra parts from my yzf 450 purchase and it just so happened to be that the extra suspension parts were a full set of works triple rate black widows external reservoirs upfront and the remote reservoir for the rear .

Now I have been searching up and down this forum for some solid answers I have found some great info but just not enough to make a purchase of anything yet .

Now that my intro is over, let's get to modding my 2002 banshee what a arms can I buy to run these triple rate works upfront ? And what mods will I need to run the rear shock ?

The front shocks are 18 inches eye to eye I believe is the term , and the rear shock is 18inches as well .

And as for valving goes I believe they are valved for MX racing for a 185 pound rider . I'm sure they will need to be revalved due to the weight difference that I am .

If everything was already the right valving, length, etc, it would be worth it. However that rear shock is of no use to you. Sell it. And if the fronts will need to be rebuilt for your weight they really are of no use either. I'd say sell that stuff and just buy banshee specific parts for you.

If you are determined to use the fronts, I believe Laegers, and Fireball use 17.5-18.5 inch shocks.

Cool thanks for the feedback , I'm not really to determined to use this set of shocks I was just not wanting to have them just chill in the garage after finding out how much they go for
