hicksons
The only thing I have not checked was the pick up gap ,coil, and re syncing the carbs ,it ran good before the rebuild so felt like I didn't have to resyncSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

trickedcarbine
That same Kryptonite Lock saved my banshee a few years ago when some neighborhood kids used a cordless grinder to cut the lock off my shed. There were a few grinder discs in pieces on the floor next to the chain and my bike was still there. Thank fuck!
hicksons
Yea damn shame we have to do this but any one takes a look at that Lock and run the other way hahahaha best lock ever madeSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
edgehanger
Sounds like electrical to me. If you have an aftermarket stator or CDI box then I would start there. Swap out with a buddies OEM stuff and see if that solves it. Also check the plug caps and wires. Take the caps of and shake them, you shouldn't hear anything. Make sure the orange and black wires are snug on the coil and not dancing around as you ride

hicksons
So I got the banshee to my garage guys and found that the bike doesn't even have to be rolling if you sit at idle in neutral and rev when it gets up there in Rpms it starts to break down sputter idle it smokes and pings out both exhaust and high up in rpm one cyl will smoke and the other won't so much little smoke nothing like the other side Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

edgehanger
Which side is smoking more? What about the stator? Is it OEM ? I see you have a boost bottle pushed all the way down in the boots with OEM clamps. That's an almost guaranteed air leak there. Did you leak test it? I wouldn't fool with a boost bottle at all but f you have no choice then get some hose clamps from the auto parts store and use them instead but most importantly you need to leak test it asap. I would be surprised if there is no leak at the bottle
hicksons
Yea oem Stator ,the rite side of the bike if you sitting on it smokes more than the left I will do a leak test tomorrow for sure Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
